Speaker Bio:
Dr. Kelly Lackie PhD RN is an Associate Professor/Associate Director, Simulation & Interprofessional Education, Dalhousie University School of Nursing. Dr. Lackie sits on the InterprofessionalResearch.Global (IPR.Global) Steering Committee, is co-Chair of the IPR.Global Summer Research Institute, Vice-Chair of the Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative, and a Board member of Simulation Canada. Her research focuses on interprofessional education and collaborative practice and psychological safety, examined through a health equity lens. Her work, showcased in peer-reviewed publications and international conferences, highlights the importance of psychological safety in IPECP for challenging historical dominance in the learning and practice environments.
